La Dictée des Amériques 1996-1997-1998

La Dictée des Amériques is an international French-language spelling competition established by Télé-Québec in 1994 and broadcast throughout the world. Since its inception, over 850,000 people have taken part in the various qualifying rounds of La Dictée des Amériques in Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe, the United States and Canada. In Quebec, over 60,000 people participate in the Dictée each year. In English Canada and other countries, 35,000 people give it a go.
